Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Diyala, Iraq -- A conference was held on Tuesday to discuss ways of fighting poverty and improving Iraqis’ income, according to advisor of the Diala governor for reconstruction and investment affairs.
“The conference, which was held in central Baaquba with the participation of a number of ministries’ representatives and local councils’ official, tackled ways of fighting poverty and improving Iraqis’ income, through implementing big projects which provide thousands of job opportunities,” Rasem Ismail told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Baaquba, the capital of Diala, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
